A new model from Hangar 9 has just been announced, quoting from the press release –
“This Cap 232 has been designed by nine-times ‘Tournament of Champions’ competitor, Mike McConville to provide the modeller with a giant-scale IMAC model that is ideally suited to unlimited aerobatic competition”
“With a 97″ wing span and a 90″ fuselage, this huge model has all the features you could want in a large-scale model. The model is formed of a lightweight balsa and ply construction finished off with an Ultracote covering. It features removable wing panels and a removable tailplane along with anodised aluminium wing and tailplane tubes. All of the wooden parts have been carefully selected to provide a lightweight airframe construction, that is jig-built to ensure the accuracy essential for precision aerobatics. The wing alignment and incidence are already set in the correct positionfor the user”
