News of a new model normally comes via distributors, sometimes from retailers, yet occasionally we stumble on them at the flying field such as we did with this 56″ span Sukhoi from Global RC. Clubmate Andy brought this model down to fly at the weekend and so impressed were we that I though you all might to know about it.
It’s sold by UK retailer/distributor Global RC and apart from the attractive colour scheme (which, trust me, looks even better in the flesh), flies very well too. It’s of a modern lightweight construction and designed for electric or i.c. (see datafile). Andy’s i.c. version here weighs just 4lbs with a West .36 and pipe which provides ample power.
