Distributed by Als Hobbies, the new Ultimate AMR features the revolutionary FiberFusion® construction making it, so they tell us, the lightest electric built up biplane produced to date in this size at 38oz ready to fly. Despite this though, it is rigid enough to withstand the most extreme high energy aerobatics.
FiberFusion® is an engineered construction method combining carbon-fibre, balsa and ply in a way never seen before, utilizing the strengths of the fibres within each raw material, with the end result being a lighter, stronger, more rigid aeroplane that flies better.
With a wingspan of 40″ (1014mm), The Ultimate AMR is easily transportable and will fit in any back seat of a car without the hassle of removing the wings although they can be removed for convenience of storage if desired.
The model has been designed for a PA Thrust 40 brushless motor with a 45A speed controller and using a 3-cell, 2200mAh Li-Po battery.
