Strengths:
Very easy to programme. Plenty of functions for the intermediate pilot. Nicely placed switch gear. Light.
Weaknesses:
Only a 10 model memory. Not suitable for pilots of large gliders. . .
Overall:
I got the T7C as we have a lot of issues with interference on 35Mhz at our field. I found the set easier to programme than my Graupner MX12 35Mhz set. The availability of after market FASST compatible RX keeps the costs involved with new models down. A simple to use reliable radio with plenty of functionality.

Strengths:
Build and software quality. . . .
Weaknesses:
Not good for gliders. . . .
Overall:
I give up with the Futaba 7C. Looked a lovely peice of kit, but it just didn't do what I bought it for. I've now returned it. After many, many emails back and forth between me and Futaba technical support I have finally concluded that this transmitter is not capable of what I wanted it for.

Strengths:
Easy to use, setup your receiver and never worry about flying with others on your frequency ever again. Plenty of tweeks to play with on your Heli and Plane setup. I upgraded from an old Field Force 6 transmitter which I intend to use as a training system with my son. I'm really happy I choce this model of transmitter.
Weaknesses:
Receivers are to expensive to have more than one, I currently find myself moving the receiver from model to model, i used to take more than one model to the flying field but now I concentrate on just the one at a time and I feel it has somehow made my flying improve. Throttle control moves abit notchy, not as smooth as other makes of transmitter. Easy solution though is to take out the metal spring inside the unit. .
Overall:
Truly an excellent choice of transmitter. . . .
