Strengths:
Easy to program. lots of pre set mixes. Assignable switches, several timers that can be programed as required. Modular RF so can use either 2.
Weaknesses:
15 model memory a bit stingy these days. Yes you can use the CAMPac facility but have you seen the price? Pitty Futaba didn't step into the 20th century & use SD cards. Receivers are expensive. 1200 mAh battery a bit small (upgraded mine to an 1800 LIFE pack).
Overall:
A great radio. Very happy with mine & would recommend it to anyone. . .

easy to use once you actually start to use it, I have the 2. 4 gig, 35mhz and spectrum modules for it, so can use it for most models.
very reliable,. .
Weaknesses:
trying to alocate switches certain functions, never appears to have the set up in the manual you need, but more info available online. . . .
Overall:

Weaknesses:
the manual could be a lot more helpfull, and it take's a while to understand it. . . .
Overall:

Strengths:
You want it - It's there somewhere!. . . .
Weaknesses:
Some of the regularly used features like model changing are too convoluted/complex. Double cursoring/wheel system is unergonomic, but fast once you get used to it. . .
Overall:
With the newer 8Ch set having SD card memory, the days seem numbered for CAMPAC (GOOD!)
Overpriced and probably over specced for most. . . .

Strengths:
Well made, great screen, easier to clean than the 9, compatible with all Futaba 2. 4 receivers. Modular so can be used with 35MHz too. Very easy to use.
Weaknesses:
The manual could always be a little more helpful but still one of the best you'll get with any radio. Is 15 model memories still a bit stingy?. . .
Overall:
A nice drop of radio buy this and it'll be all the average club/competition/scale flyer should need for many years. . . .
